Minecraft 1.21.70.20 Beta - developers have presented a new test version for Android. This update features dry leaves, forest flowers, unusual types of cows and two types of Bushes.
Experimental features
The game has added several features for the experimental mode. Here are the key points:
Dry leaves
- It can be found in forest biomes;
- Regular leaves can be melted down to make dry leaves;
- Works as fuel for furnaces;
- The amount of foliage on a block is always different;
- By adding layers of Dry Foliage you can increase its volume;
- Equipped with special sound effects.
Forest flowers
- They grow in forests;
- The number of colors on one block differs;
- Suitable for making Yellow dye;
- Possibility of increasing the number of colors by combining them;
- In the meadows the amount of short grass becomes less.
Bush
- New decorative element;
- Can be used for composting;
- Applying Bone Meal will cause an additional Bush to appear.
Firefly Bush
- Found in swamp locations;
- Spreads firefly particles;
- Creates lighting in space;
- After using Bone Meal, it is possible to receive its drops.
New types of cows
- There are now "Cold" and "Warm" cows depending on biomes;
- Updated sounds in deserts and mesas;
- Background sounds have been added to the Dead Bush, Sand, Red Sand and Terracotta locations.
Other changes
- Donkeys can now spawn in Savannah biomes;
- The lighthouse beam is more visible regardless of the height;
- Dark oak is now more common in forests than before.
Fixed bugs
A total of 18 bugs have been fixed. Some of them are:
- We have established the placement of sea cucumbers on any blocks;
- Barrier blocks no longer prevent chunks from loading;
- Fixed the problem with blocks disappearing in liquid;
- Added correction for changing textures in structural blocks;
- Fixed the issue with infinite block placement on servers;
- Fixed a crash when undoing a conversion or importing worlds on Xbox;
- Foxes have once again started taking damage when in contact with lava;
- Fixed flickering of Bags' hints when playing together on one screen;
- Riding mob inventories are now synchronized with other screens;
- Donkeys now spawn on the plains in numbers of one to three individuals;
- Simplified transfer of items from the creative menu to the player's inventory;
- Fixed random pixels on Minecoin purchase interface;
- Trees in Dark Forests are better adapted to living next to different biomes.
