Minecraft 1.21.120.21 Beta

Minecraft 1.21.120.21 Beta - Meet the new test version for Android! The latest update not only makes the gameplay more enjoyable but also brings the mobile version closer to the Java edition. Here are the most important changes — there’s definitely a lot to try in this update.

Dynamic Interface

We all know how frustrating it is to endlessly search for the right setting or item in confusing menus. Now, when you enter the game menu after the update, you’ll immediately notice the difference: the elements are more modern and logical. Even if it’s your first time playing Minecraft, understanding the settings and inventory is now a breeze — the interface practically guides you.

A simple example from a builder’s life: you’re constructing a glass dome and suddenly can’t see what’s happening inside or outside. This used to be a real pain! But now, if you bring the camera closer, the glass blocks and panels will fade before your eyes, becoming transparent. A true gem for anyone who loves experimenting with architecture and design.

Main Changes

  • Fresh menu design: The developers have completely revamped the interface’s appearance. The menu is now more modern and structured, making it even easier to quickly find the functions you need.
  • New textures for copper items: The copper lamp and torch now stand out sharply among other objects — thanks to their redesigned look, they’re very easy to distinguish, reducing inventory confusion.
  • Glass block transparency: By bringing the camera closer, players will notice how glass blocks and panels become completely transparent. Now building beautiful structures and peeking into interiors is much easier and more impressive.
  • Technical settings cleanup: By removing the outdated sampleWidth parameter in the water config, the developers simplified the internal logic, bringing the sandbox visuals closer to stability.

Bedrock and Java Closer Together

For the developers, it has always been important that players on different platforms feel like part of one big gaming world. In this update, small details like the shadow sizes of tadpoles and the hitbox of the copper golem have been adjusted. In other words, mob actions and item interactions now feel almost identical, whether you’re playing on Android, PC, or console.

A practical example: on mobile, you interact with a golem or build tiny decorative ponds. The object’s behavior will be completely predictable, especially if you’ve watched guides or streams of the Java Edition — no unpleasant surprises!

Bug Fixes

  • Visual improvements: Artifacts on aged copper rods have been removed, and water reflections during the «Nausea» effect now look much more realistic. Additionally, the Vibrant Visuals mode with waves works correctly and is pleasing to the eye.
  • Corrected item animation and logic: Coarse dirt no longer instantly turns into farmland, and the copper golem statue stays in place after falling. Furthermore, the leash attaches where it should, and the copper golem drops a poppy when it becomes a statue.
  • Comfort fixes: Brief appearances of the death screen after using a bed, bugs with item deletion from storage, and clear differentiation of the «Copper Chest» in the interface have all been fixed. All of this — a result of player feedback.
When installing the Beta (test) version, it is advisable to make backup copies of the worlds
