Minecraft 1.21.131.01

(full version)

Minecraft 1.21.131.01 - Mojang developers have delighted us with a small but important update — the full version of the game for Android has been released. This time, it's a hotfix aimed at improving stability and fixing a couple of annoying bugs. Let's see what exactly has changed and whether it's worth celebrating.

The star of the update — The Spear

It seems the developers continue to refine the combat mechanics, and in this patch, all the attention has been given to the Spear. There are only two changes, but they can significantly impact your battles.

  • Increased knockback interval. Now you have more time to knock back an enemy while charging your weapon. In my opinion, this is a great tactical improvement. Previously, you had to hit the perfect timing, which was challenging in the heat of battle with multiple mobs. An extra fraction of a second can save your life, allowing you to push away a persistent creeper or zombie.
  • Improved animation. The spear attack animation has been synchronized with its charge. This might seem like a minor detail, but in practice, it's an important visual improvement. The better we see and feel the weapon in our hands, the more enjoyable it is to use. Now the movements should be smoother and more intuitive, adding more spectacle to the combat.

Bug fixes

As with any hotfix, the main work was done "under the hood." This time, two annoying issues that could ruin the gaming experience were fixed.

  • «Adventure Time» Achievement. A bug that prevented this achievement from being registered, even if you visited all the required biomes (at least 17, as a reminder), has been fixed. It's frustrating to spend hours exploring the world and not receive the deserved achievement. I'm glad this has finally been addressed, and now achievement hunters can breathe a sigh of relief.
  • ESC Key in the In-Game Marketplace. A problem where the Escape key stopped working after using the search in the Marketplace has been resolved. This was a small but very annoying bug. You had to restart or click with the mouse to close the window, which was confusing. Now navigating the store will be a bit more convenient.

Technical changes

For regular players, this point might seem uninteresting, but it's important for the game's future. The developers have added two technical changes that will make life easier for addon and mod creators. The more convenient the tools for modders, the more amazing content we will get in the future. So, this is undoubtedly good news for the entire community.

Overall, update 1.21.131.01 — is a classic example of "bug-fixing work." No new content, but important fixes that make the game more stable and enjoyable. The changes to the Spear are especially pleasing — it feels like Mojang is striving to make every weapon unique and useful. We look forward to the next, larger updates.
