Minecraft 1.19.30 for Android - a new update to the cubic world, featuring 37 changes and 50 adjustments. Based on beta testing, issues were identified in the new additions, and they are now fixed. The game is expected to run much more stably.
Why the game size increased
The first noticeable thing – is the size of the apk files, which now weigh almost 600 MB. This is due to the inclusion of a music pack in the game file.
You head to the Nether to gather some food and leather by hunting Hoglins. Previously, you might have noticed their hitbox and attack range were a bit odd: sometimes they hit you from an unexpectedly long distance, and other times their attacks missed even when you were close. But with the new update, this has been fixed, and their attacks now match their actual range.
Scenario
You enter the Crimson Forest, armed with a bow and sword. Suddenly, you notice a group of Hoglins aggressively moving toward you.
- You: "Alright, guys, let’s see how you fight after the update!"
- Combat tactics:
- You keep your distance, shooting arrows. Now you know for sure that the Hoglin can’t reach you if you stay outside its hitbox.
- When the Hoglin gets closer, you switch to your sword and confidently dodge its attacks, knowing they are now predictable.
- Outcome:
- You defeat the Hoglins without taking a single hit, thanks to their attack range now being realistic.
- You collect meat and leather, feeling like a true hunter.
Fixing the hitbox and attack range of Hoglins and Zoglins makes combat with them fairer and more predictable. Now you can better plan your actions and use tactics without fearing "unfair" hits.
Situation 2: "Trading with villagers: Named blacksmith"
Backstory
You live in a village where every villager has a role. You decided to name one of the villagers using a name tag to make them stand out. After the update, their name now appears along with their trade level, making interactions even more convenient.
Example of villager display
You approach your favorite blacksmith. Now, above their head, it shows: " (Master)".
- You immediately see that they’ve reached the "Master" level and know they have the best items.
- You no longer need to open each villager’s interface to check their level — now it’s visible at a glance.
Role-playing:
- You decide to name other villagers to make the village feel more "alive." For example:
- The farmer — "John Harvest".
- The librarian — "Vasya the Bookkeeper".
- The archer — "Grisha the Bowman".
- Now you feel like you’re living in a real community where every villager has their own personality.
Usefulness
Displaying a villager’s name along with their trade level simplifies interactions, especially in large villages. It also adds a role-playing element, making villagers more unique and memorable.
Fixed bugs
Identified bugs (around 50) have been resolved as much as possible, but individual issues may still occur.
Additions
For mod and addon development, new modules have been included, previously tested in beta versions.
