Minecraft PE 1.18.0 for android - the official update, which was called "Caves and Rocks". The scale of the update is really impressive, with improved location generation, expansion of the upper limits of the game, as well as new biomes ! But first things first.

Major changes

The main focus of the developers was aimed at modernizing the world generation system, which is now 320 blocks. This caused a change in the system for creating caves and mountain ranges, which can now create their own biomes!

The mountain range will be able to include as many as five locations:

• High mountain peaks are a biome that is created if the mountain itself has sufficient height, or if the temperature indicators of nearby locations are above the average norm. Here you will not find inhabitants or flora, as everything is covered with ice blocks and snow.
• Snowy peaks - the condition for generating such places will be a sufficient height of the mountain, as well as cold biomes, which are located near hilly terrain. Such places are covered with snow and ice.
• Rocky Peaks - is the final layer of mountain generation, created in relatively warm locations. The main materials are stones or gravel. The area is a favorite habitat for goats.
• Highlands - the main part of the mountain range, on the territory of which grow berry bushes and a variety of flowers.
• Mountain fields are a rather cold and snowy place, which is home to white hares.
