The developers of Minecraft 1.20 since the early versions of the game have added all the mobs based on the features of the real nature. Each animal prefers certain foods, while some it will ignore or, on the contrary, can eat, taking damage. For example, if parrots are fed cookies or chocolate, then these foods will act like poison on them.
