To craft a helicopter, you need to create a workbench, shown in the recipe below.

The workbench shown below allows you to create not only a helicopter, but also a canister and a fuel pump on which the device operates.

Before creating gasoline, take a Redstone block and put it in the fuel generator. After some time, the workbench will finish synthesizing fuel, and you will be able to fill the empty canister with flammable liquid.
