Minecraft 1.20.60.23 Beta is a test version of the game, in which the developers continue to gradually introduce us to new features of the full release. This time we can congratulate you, since in this version you will get acquainted with a new game mob - Armadillo. This peaceful mob, which has not been seen in the game until now, is a new beast with which you can fully interact. But first things first.

Experimental features

Armadillo

• A new companion in the world of Minecraft, which, in addition to its cute appearance, has useful features. Main features:
• A neutral beast that lives in the Savannah biome;
• When danger appears, it hides in its shell (only when standing still);
• The main types of threats are: Players on mounts, heroes running nearby, Undead;
• The time spent in protection mode is 3 seconds after the threat is canceled;
• Uses Spider Eyes as food.

Shield of the Armadillo

• From the mob you can get Armadillo Shields - an element of its shell;
• Shields are used to create Wolf Armor;
• To obtain Shields, you can use a Dispenser or a Brush.

Wolf armor

• A protection item that can be equipped to a tamed Wolf (the function will only be available to the owner);
• To remove equipment from the Wolf, use Scissors (only the owner of the beast can remove it);
• Protective armor can be picked up again after the death of the Wolf.

Blocks and mobs

• Fixed a bug with the level of transparency of the copper grille, which is coated with wax;
• The animation of the Breeze mob has been improved, as well as its behavior while moving;
• Some of the copper lamps found in the Test Room have been given a wax coating;
• The algorithm for randomizing Trial Spawners in the Test Room has been changed.

Corrected mistakes

• The transition between dimensions does not cause game bugs;
• Performing various actions (including building) while falling from a height does not cause additional damage to the player;
• Accidental falling from a height and subsequent damage has been eliminated;
• Full stacks of items are again available for picking up by other mobs;
• Versions of the game for the Xbox series consoles received 4K resolution;
• The world editor menu has received new functions and interface;
• A “Join” button has been added, allowing you to connect to the world of your Friends in the game.
