Populus Run — is an unconventional runner where you control not just one hero, but an entire crowd of people. Imagine a marathon where you have to dodge not ordinary obstacles, but giant donuts, flying burgers, and other appetizing yet deadly fast food.

Your main goal — is to guide as many runners as possible to the finish line, maintaining the size of your group and overcoming the most absurd and fun challenges imaginable. It’s a survival race in a world of sugary anarchy.

Unity — is your strength

Imagine your crowd of a hundred people running on a narrow platform. Ahead — a giant rolling donut, ready to wipe out half of your group. You quickly steer the runners to the right, but there awaits a waterfall of sticky glaze, slowing down movement. Some people inevitably fall behind, and your group thins out. At this moment, you need to make a quick decision: risk it and dash past the next burger to gather a new group of runners, or focus on preserving the ones you have left?

And at the end of the level, you’ll face the boss rapper Macaron, who attacks you not only with rhymes but also with deadly macaroni, forcing the entire crowd to chaotically scatter across the arena in search of cover.

How to guide the crowd to the finish

Keep the crowd compact — a smaller group maneuvers more easily between obstacles.
Constantly look for opportunities to expand your group, but don’t take unnecessary risks in dangerous areas.
Assess the road ahead: plan your path through multiple obstacles to avoid «traps» and losing a large portion of your group at once.
Use boosts and ramps to quickly steer the crowd away from danger.
Don’t ignore secret passages and alternative routes — they are often safer than the direct path and can provide bonuses or new runners.
Before facing the boss, try to preserve as many people as possible: this will increase your chances of surviving the attacks until a safe zone for counterattacks opens up.
Experiment with different tactics — each level requires an individual approach and quick decision-making!

To find them, you’ll need to be attentive: veer off the main road, look for holes in pipes, and pay attention to hints on billboards. Collecting all the secret heroes not only adds excitement but also unlocks new challenges, encouraging you to explore every corner of this colorful madness.

For those seeking a real challenge, the game offers a Hardcore mode. Here, speed increases, obstacles multiply, and the cost of mistakes rises exponentially. This mode tests your reflexes and ability to think ahead.
