Minecraft 1.21.113.01

(full version)

Minecraft 1.21.113.01 – an additional patch for the “Copper Age” update that opens up even more horizons for players: the game now features unique copper-related items, blocks, and creatures. First, we’ll cover the latest fixes, then briefly recap the key additions.

Important fixes

In recent weeks, many of you encountered annoying Minecraft bugs, widely discussed in threads and communities. Some lost resources due to items randomly vanishing from chests and hoppers; others got unexpected crashes after updating; and the most attentive noticed the copper golem didn’t always hand over items if you interacted with it a certain way.

This caused frustration and spoiled the fun of exploring the blocky world, especially when building complex automation or working with new mechanics.

The dev team heard the feedback and quickly released a patch — a small but crucial update that fixes the most painful issues.

What changed:

  • Fixed item disappearance. Previously, placing a set into a container above a hopper with filled slots could erase its contents. Your stuff is safe now!
  • Copper golem now hands over the item. If you interacted with the golem while holding an item in your off-hand or equipping armor, it wouldn’t drop what it carried. Now it correctly releases the carried item. Managing the helper is easier.
  • Removed a game crash cause. Fixed a rare crash triggered by a specific text format (%.<number>s). Fewer sudden crashes, more stability.
  • Fixed potential crash on world load. Resolved an issue where a script request to a character during world loading could cause a failure.
  • Updated filters for content creators. The all_slots_empty, any_slot_empty, and has_equipment filters now support the main_hand slot. A technical upgrade that gives modders more options.

Handy fixes like these. Don’t forget to update to the new version for the smoothest gameplay.

Update highlights

If you missed the previous version, the game added lots of new features, including an automated helper — the copper golem, unique copper chests with oxidation, a full set of copper tools, and a fresh copper armor set. These additions greatly expanded gameplay and diversified the usual survival loop.

  • Copper golem: automated helper for sorting items; seeks copper chests on its own, carries up to 16 items, has a 32×8 block search radius, and drops copper ingots.

  • Copper chests: new oxidizable storage; crafted from a regular chest plus copper ingots; oxidation can be prevented with wax.

  • Copper tools: axe, pickaxe, shovel, hoe, and sword — don’t oxidize, tougher than stone but slower; enchant worse than iron.

  • Copper armor: more durable than leather, below iron; practical for early survival.

Honestly, this patch was truly necessary — in the previous 1.21.111.01 build, bugs spoiled the impression of the new mechanics, and many players hit snags right from the start. Now most noticeable issues are fixed, gameplay is smoother and more stable, and you can finally enjoy all the copper content to the fullest.
