More professions for villagers adds new villagers to Minecraft representing different professions. Their activities will introduce new items and opportunities, one of the areas is the food industry, it will be possible to buy a larger list of types of food. There will also be beekeepers, builders - new blocks (not available in normal survival), doctors - from whom you can purchase potions, and others.
