You will lead a team, exploring dangerous locations, gathering resources, and engaging in intense battles with the infected. In addition to missions, you will develop your own base in a safe haven, where you can prepare for missions, upgrade equipment, and interact with other characters.

Imagine this scenario: your team is trapped in a narrow corridor of an abandoned laboratory. On one side, slow but numerous zombies are advancing, and on the other, a fast and deadly Licker. There's no time to think. You order Leon to take position behind an overturned table, using it as cover, and hold off the zombie horde with precise shots.

Meanwhile, Claire, using her mobility, flanks the Licker and uses a grenade to stun it. The final blow is delivered by Jill, activating her ability for a precise shot at the monster's weak spot. Every decision made in a split second directly impacts the outcome of the battle and the survival of the team.
