![Minecraft 1.26.1]()
Minecraft 1.26.1.01 - Mojang developers have once again captured the attention of the gaming community by releasing the full version of the game for Android. The new update is extremely minimalist: it fixes just one bug. Let’s take a closer look at what exactly has changed and reflect on what this approach might mean for the game’s future.
What was fixed?
In this update, the developers focused all their efforts on a single issue, but one that was important for some players.
- Fixed interface scaling in settings. Previously, on some devices, elements of the settings menu could display incorrectly, making navigation inconvenient. This issue has now been resolved, and the interface should look neat on screens of any size.

Main innovations in Minecraft 1.26
Before diving into the list of changes, I’d like to note that the previous update left a much stronger impression than this fresh minimalist patch. The amount of new functionality and attention to detail truly felt like a step forward for the entire game.
Personally, I always find it fascinating to see how major updates change standard habits: the familiar interface suddenly works differently, unexpected possibilities emerge in world creation or character customization. However, this sometimes brings a period of adaptation, as new features aren’t always easy to grasp at first.
Experimental features
- A new version numbering system has been introduced — the release number is now tied to the year of release.
- Added the ability to craft Name Tags for mobs — they can now be created using paper and any metal nugget.
- Significant updates to the models and animations of mob babies (cow, pig, wolf, rabbit, cat, sheep, chicken, and others): bounding boxes have been adjusted, new sounds for babies added, and animations for rabbits introduced.
- The Spawn Egg now allows you to directly spawn baby versions of the corresponding mob.
If you haven’t installed the previous version or missed this update — be sure to check out the full list of changes on the official Minecraft website, as it includes many preparatory steps for future major innovations.
