Minecraft 1.26.10.04

Minecraft 1.26.10.04 Bedrock - the developers have finally released the full version for Android. I've already explored the new features, tested a few, and I'm ready to share my impressions. The update is quite intriguing, though I have mixed feelings in some areas. Let's break it all down!

Golden Dandelion

This is a completely new plant that will surely appeal to fans of decorative farms and cute pets. Crafting it is simple: take a regular dandelion, add a gold nugget, and it's ready!

What you need to know about the Golden Dandelion:

• Its main function — completely stopping the growth of mob babies. Feed the baby, and it will stay tiny forever;
• It can be used to craft suspicious stew and yellow dye;
• The plant attracts piglins, and some mobs can pick it up;
• Bone meal has no effect on it.

The mechanic doesn't work on all mobs. The dandelion is useless for monsters, tadpoles, and villagers.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed about the tadpoles — it would have been great to keep them in an aquarium forever. Also, the inability to reproduce the flower with bone meal slightly complicates the process.

Important Changes

The developers made a total of 13 changes, but two of them deserve special attention.

• Added tag crafting! Yes, you heard that right. No more spending hours fishing or exploring dungeons hoping to find that coveted tag for your pet. For me, this is definitely a plus — it saves a lot of time.
• Baby mob update. Babies now have completely new models, textures, and even sounds!

The list of mobs whose babies now have a new look is impressive:

• Axolotls, dolphins, turtles, squids (including glowing ones);
• Horses, donkeys, mules (and their zombie/skeleton versions);
• Pandas, striders, hoglins, and zoglins;
• Sniffers;
• Piglins, villagers (and their zombie versions), drowned, and husks.

The visual update for babies — is a 10 out of 10. The game looks fresher, and the new sounds add to the atmosphere. The developers did an excellent job with the details.

Bug Fixes

Here, everything is standard but extensive. The team fixed a total of 98 bugs carried over from test versions. Here are some of the notable fixes:

• Fixed a bug with incorrect border rendering on some new baby models;
• The Nether portal can now be lit with lava again;
• Fixed a crash that occurred on some Android devices when launching the game;
• The vindicator named "Johnny" now attacks everyone again, as intended;
• New skin textures now apply correctly after being changed via the marketplace.

Additionally, 250 technical changes were added. For regular players, this might not mean much, but for addon and mod creators, it's a real celebration. We look forward to a wave of amazing custom modifications!

Despite some limitations of the Golden Dandelion, tag crafting and the new baby textures fully make up for all the drawbacks.
