Vanilla RTX

Vanilla RTX is an add-on that improves the color reproduction of all elements of the game. It needs RTX ray tracing to work.

It uses a normal map, and not as usual - a height and relief map. Based on this, the surface depth is simulated.

More data results in more light showing up and interacting with textures.
