The developers clearly polished up the new biome. It now looks more complete, feels more alive, and behaves more predictably.

Here are the key changes:

• A separate grass tint was added for sulfur caves.
• The sulfur and cinnabar textures were updated to better match Java Edition.
• Sulfur spikes now grow over time.
• Powerful sulfur now launches creatures slightly higher.
• Eruption particles now rise higher too and get stuck in blocks less often.
• Poison gas particles now darken depending on the lighting.
• Powerful sulfur can no longer be moved by pistons.
• A bug was fixed where natural sulfur sources sometimes failed to create a geyser.
• There are now more sulfur pools in sulfur caves.
• The amount of glowing lichen was reduced.
• Caves opening to the surface now generate more correctly and with all biome features intact.

Personally, I like that the biome is not just getting spot fixes, but is being gradually brought into proper shape. It no longer looks like a rough idea — the place is starting to gain its own character.
