![Infernal Plan: A Raid in the Nether in Minecraft]()
Hello, Minecraft friends! Here’s that daring experimenter who sometimes gets too curious about what might happen if you do something that, at first glance, seems completely crazy. One evening, an idea struck me — what if you could trigger a raid in the Nether? My first thought: «That’s pure nonsense». But honestly, who else would test it if not me? My imagination was already picturing pillagers surviving under scorching lava waterfalls — a sight, I tell you, cooler than any circus!
Diving into the Experiment: Building a Village on Bones (Almost Literally)
My preparation — that’s a story in itself!
- Catch the “Bad Guy”. Took down the pillager captain, got the “Bad Omen” effect, and ran with it like I had lit dynamite in my inventory.
- Build “luxury housing”. Setting up a platform for a village in the Nether — honestly, it was something else. While building, I nearly boiled myself in lava a dozen times!
- Transport the villagers. This is where the real fun began: the villagers were not thrilled — judging by their square faces, they’d rather befriend creepers than come to the Nether with me.
- Make it cozy. Beds are ready, the “resting” corner is set up. The villagers look like they want to file a complaint to Mojang, but they quietly move into their new “apartments”.
Honestly, at this stage, I almost believed it would work — I was so excited!

Waiting! Where’s the Epic, Where’s the Raid?
Standing ready, effect glowing, villagers nearby — but all I hear is the sound of lava and the grunts of hoglins. I walked in circles, even recited a couple of “spells” just in case... But nothing! Time passed: five minutes, ten, thirty! The hoglins had already become new neighbors, and it seemed the villagers were starting to get used to them. The raid — didn’t happen.
My inner commentator grumbled: “Of course, you came up with it — now make it happen! But here – nothing.” Maybe the pillagers are too smart for such adventures? Or maybe they’re just not fans of the Nether’s heat — and honestly, you can’t blame them for that.

Pros and Cons of the Experiment
Pros:
- Mastered the art of transporting villagers through the portal: I can now work as a Minecraft “taxi”.
- Tested the theory in practice — now I know for sure what doesn’t work.
- Had a lot of fun: the local mobs definitely didn’t expect such a circus in the Nether!
Cons:
- Didn’t meet expectations: never saw a battle between pillagers and blazes.
- The villagers got upset, and now I can only make it up to them with emeralds.
- My enthusiasm melted a bit, just like I did in the lava while building the village…
My Conclusion: A Bit Disappointed, but Satisfied!
In short, friends, the experiment showed — it’s not meant to be to see a crazy raid among lava rivers. The mechanics don’t allow such tricks: you can make a “village”, you can have the “Bad Omen” effect, but the raid — only in the overworld! I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to see a colorful battle, but at least I had a lot of fun. Have your villagers ever “regretted” meeting you?
Let’s discuss: has anyone done even stranger and crazier experiments in Minecraft? I’m waiting for your stories — because our beloved cubic world is full of surprises if you’re not afraid to look for them!
