The moment of truth: timing, nerves, and first reaction
After a dozen tries I nailed the perfect moment: midair, fractions of a second before the ground, I bop the pig on the head. It bursts into pixels, and I wait, hoping the game forgives the cheeky move and cancels the damage. But nope! As soon as the ground hugs me, the full penalty for the height lands in full. And inside it’s like «ooof, what a bummer!» For some reason I thought a logic portal would open and the system would say: “hit from above – bonus for you, slick!” But no, the mechanics are strict: only if you land directly on the mob and strike at the same time will fall damage be negated. Honestly — it was something else! Hearts burn, you die, but the sensations and emotions — like your first elytra flight. What I loved wasn’t the execution itself so much as the thrill of probing the game’s mechanics and seeing where it winks at unconventional tricks and where it says: “we play by the rules”. The mace is a riot: if you love jumping and inventing new ways to erase foes instantly — it’s for you. But alas, you won’t outsmart physics here.
