Hello everyone! As always, it’s me, the enthusiast for whom “What if it works?” isn’t a question but a way of life in Minecraft.

You know, when the ability to leash boats came out, my mind instantly switched to “maximum experimenter mode.” My first thought was: “What if it’s not just one boat, but several? And what if there’s a grunting passenger in each one?” Honestly, I didn’t expect to see what I saw!

Crazy construction: a tunnel caravan of boats with pigs

So, I decided: one boat isn’t enough! A true Minecrafter builds big — that’s the rule. I dug a long tunnel so the boats could move like a real mini-metro. The result was something else: several boats connected by leashes like train cars. In each one – a cheerful pig! The pigs sat in the boats like rush-hour passengers, grunting, peeking over the edges, and seemingly not understanding why they bought a ticket for this express.

From the side, it looked like a farmer decided to open an underground pig railway. Farmer of the year!

Experiment phase: redstone and domino effect

Next, I decided to make things more complicated. I connected a pressure plate and a lamp to the lead boat: the idea was that when the caravan moved through the tunnel, the last boat (or rather — the pig in it) would step on the plate and send a signal to the lamp. Sounds simple, but honestly, it all depends on how obedient your piggy train cars are.

The moment of truth came — I carefully pushed the first boat into the tunnel… And here it begins: the real Minecraft metro. The boats smoothly follow one another, the leashes stretch, the pigs are surprised by what’s happening, and this whole “work crew” crawls toward the finish line. At one point, one pig tries to slow down, another bumps into its back, and the third practically collapses in its seat — the tunnel is total chaos, but the laughter is incredible! And — oh yes — the last boat finally steps on the plate! The lamp lights up, and the entire line is illuminated with a true celebration of signal lights.

My observations and personal conclusions

  • The tunnel — not just cool, but total chaos! Leashing boats works, but controlling such a composition in a confined space — that’s a special kind of Minecraft acrobatics. If one pig gets stuck in a corner, the whole train stops, just like rush hour in the metro.
  • Pigs as passengers are hilarious! If you thought chickens in a boat were funny, try pigs in a Minecraft metro. I guarantee: your animals will be extremely surprised by this new transport service!
  • The redstone effect — a small miracle! Even though everything moved chaotically, the lamp signal worked as soon as the “retired pig” at the last stop stepped on the plate. Imagine: such a train could easily become the new legend of your server!
  • Practical use… almost none! But in terms of fun and unusual Minecraft moments — it’s a top-tier experience! Emotions for a whole year, and you’ll have something to tell and show your friends.
