Shulkers make exploring End City tense even for well-equipped players. At the same time, they are one of the main reasons to go there. After defeating shulkers, you can obtain shulker shells, which are highly valued because they allow you to craft portable containers for loot and building materials.

To reach End City, you first need to defeat the Ender Dragon. After that, a small portal appears at the edge of the central island, leading to the outer islands of the dimension. You can reach it with an ender pearl or by carefully building a bridge.

Then comes the most interesting part: the search. End Cities do not appear on every island, so the player will have to explore the End by moving from island to island. It is best to bring blocks, food, good armor, weapons, and plenty of free inventory space. If the goal is elytra and shulker boxes, such an expedition almost always pays off.

End City remains one of the best structures in Minecraft thanks to its strong balance of risk and reward.
