![What happens if you hang a Copper Golem in the air?]()
Hello, my curious Minecraft players! Sometimes I feel like I’m not just playing Minecraft but running a lab to study mobs. No joke — if there’s a chance to do something weird, I’ll definitely take it. And so, imagine this: in the middle of the night, I got this crazy idea that made me slap my forehead and ask, "Why not?"
So, here I am, looking at my copper golem and thinking: what if I hang it? Not in that sense, of course! I mean tying it with a lead, suspending it in the air, and waiting for it to turn green like an old penny in the yard. My first thought: "Will it stay suspended in the air like a statue? No way, Minecraft wouldn’t break like that!" But it was interesting to test, just in case... Honestly, I expected anything but what actually happened.

Preparing for a great scientific discovery
Of course, I took the matter seriously! So, I build a column of blocks about twenty high, just to make sure it can’t reach the ground no matter how hard it tries. At the top — a simple fence, a Minecraft classic.
- I summon the freshest, shiniest, most handsome golem. I name him Icarus (a reference, if you know, you know).
- The next step — catching it with a lead. Quite the quest, because by the time you grab the lead, it’s already busy reorganizing your inventory.
- I climb to the top, attach the lead to the column. The golem dangles — legs twitching, head spinning, looking like it can’t believe what’s happening. And neither can I! This is pure Minecraft fantasy!
At this point, I seriously wondered: does the game feel sorry for me when I do these experiments? :)
Hours of waiting, inner tension, and many questions
Soon, routine and boredom take over — the hours of waiting begin. I sit nearby, already brewed some tea, and even sent a couple of memes about the "hanging golem" to my friends. I watch: first, it dulled a bit. Then — a green patina appeared, and then it got even brighter, as if it had stood in the rain for ages.
And then I think: what if the game decides to "break" the experiment and the lead snaps? Or the golem gets stuck in the final stage and doesn’t turn into a statue? My heart races, I can’t look away. In my head: "Please, come on, surprise me one more time, Minecraft!"

Climax: the discovery of the century for one author
And then... I return to the "operation site" after another mining trip and just freeze in awe. That’s it! My dear Icarus has fully oxidized, stopped moving... And what do you think? It actually became a statue! A real copper statue, with an artistic patina of time and... it continued to hang in the air!
If this isn’t Minecraft magic, what is? I was genuinely amazed and, I admit, almost jumped out of my chair. This is the triumph of gamer curiosity! The most beautiful statue hung right in the air, like some magical charm for my base. I was truly satisfied, and more — proud of myself!
So, friends: Minecraft once again proved its unpredictability and, at the same time, gave me new ideas for decoration. Now, the golem Icarus won’t just be a worker but a true landmark in my world.
Honestly — the experiment was a 200% success. I recommend everyone try it! And if you’ve had your own crazy tests and mob observations — share your stories, I love those kinds of tales.
